030510 Riiiiight.

Two sets of things I remember.
First, I woke up around what was probably 4:30. Twenty-ish minutes later, as I'm lying there expecting my alarm clock, I actually check the time and see that it's 4:52. Whut. So I get out AAI to play myself back to sleep. As a testament to how well it worked, I was soon under the impression that, as I played, someone mentioned Markus Zusak's The Book Thief and I am the Messenger--I think it was Edgeworth listing them as his favorite books, great taste that man, especially BT which everyone should read and WORSHIP--and also that there was this guy (Zato?) with a GIGANTIC sprite. And the action wound up back on an airplane. Nuts to that. I'm playing case four. Take me out of the courthouse and I'll shoot you and laugh. 8D

In the other thing I remember, which happened after I'd woken up, saved my game, put it away, and fallen back to sleep, I was in a restaurant with a large group of friends--probably Japanese class friends. Lai-san was there. We ordered our food--pasta and ice cream (separate, of course). Half of the pasta and ice cream came, partially served on Styrofoam plates. The ice cream was laid out on these Styrofoam plates in half-scoops and covered with a metal dish cover so that it wouldn't melt before we got to dessert (...yeah, that'll work). But I was on the half of the table that never got our food. Eventually I leave on a bicycle. Except halfway through this bike ride my brain decides that (a) I'm Edgeworth, and Bratziska is there and (b) I'm playing a video game from extremely realistic first-person perspective. I'm having trouble controlling the game camera and the bike at the same time--wind up riding backwards--so I try to press the L button to center the camera behind me as it would in Twilight Princess. Well that just makes me fall over. Franziska comes up to mock and whip me, but I just lie there on the ground. Then my alarm goes off.

These sound like good signs that I've been playing too much AAI, but also note that I keep dreaming about getting the new Soul Eater volume. Like I dreamt two nights ago that I received it. Argh. It was supposedly shipped two days ago, but the USPS tracking thing still says they've received notification to expect the package for shipping. Um. D: Googling "USPS tracking glitch" reveals people having similar problems, so I suppose it's pretty safe to guess that it's been shipped and is nearing my house. Please arrive soon! There's so much information waiting for me. About Justin. About how Stein's doing. About Spartoi. About Soul becoming a Death Scythe, almost certainly going by what I stupidly read on TV Tropes, and about Death Scythes in general (also by what I read on TV Tropes). Also by what I read on TV Tropes: about Maka's soul, some reproductive details about the different races, some interaction between Crona and Medusa. DEAR POSTAL SERVICE STOP STANDING BETWEEN ME AND THESE THINGS.
